I never fully appreciated the beauty of the world until something threatened that beauty, like a pandemic. I invite you to be more present, savor the beauty of sunsets, slow down, and appreciate the fragrance of flowers. Don’t take anything or anyone for granted. Approach each day with curiosity. Soon, you’ll realize that my paintings capture colorful, magical moments and lighthearted memories. I use acrylics because they dry quickly, and I’m a fast talker. I use inks to add emphasis and rhythm, 3D textures to create references, and glitter to add sparkle. Last but not least, needlework, because thread holds our lives together literally and figuratively. If you don’t believe me, just turn your shirt inside out—you’ll see!
